In about 5% of all people with cancer, genetic predisposition is the main cause of the disease. What does that mean for the family, which may also be carriers of the same gene? When such a gene is discovered, your close relatives often receive an official ‘Family Letter’. It states that they can also be tested. We are looking for people who have received such a letter.
Have you been tested? Or not? Could you and have you undergone preventive treatment? We are curious about your experiences. It would be great if you would like to share your story about this with our journalist. A photographer will also come by for a nice portrait.
Send your response to health@plusmagazine.nl before Thursday 15 October. Mention your name, age, address, e-mail address and telephone number. Be sure to include your own photo for the photographer.
We will contact you if your response is chosen.
