This Monday, February 17, the trial of the Priscilla Dray affair opens in Bordeaux. It all started on July 22, 2011, the date of this young woman “has completely changed”. Mother of three children, aged 35 at the time, she went to the Pellegrin CHU to undergo a voluntary termination of pregnancy. Five months after giving birth, she had just discovered that she was again pregnant. “I got there for an outpatient intervention”, During which she underwent a curettage then the installation of a IUD, said the patient in Our program.

In January 2017, the hospital was ordered to pay 300,000 euros in terms of provision on a future compensation. “No element makes it possible to limit the share of liability of the CHU in the occurrence of the damage”, had declared the magistrates.
