July 6, 2000 – According to a study1 of four weeks in 52 men and a pilot study in 49 women, all with problems with sexual dysfunction, the compound ArginMax has a real effect on libido. In addition to various minerals and vitamins, ArginMax contains ginkgo biloba, ginseng and the amino acid L-arginine for men, and damian (Turnera diffused, var. aphrodisiaca) instead of ginseng for women. Most of these products have proven effects.
Ginkgo biloba contains terpene derivatives that improve blood circulation, particularly to the brain and to areas of microcirculation. It is also an anti-oxidant. Two clinical studies have documented its positive effect on sexual function in both men and women.
L-arginine, an amino acid found naturally in the body, is a precursor to nitric oxide, a potent vasodilator that has a direct effect on erectile capacity.
Ginseng has always had a reputation as an aphrodisiac, but it’s actually an adaptogen and stimulant that gives a feeling of general well-being. Damian also has a reputation as a sexual stimulant, particularly in Central America where it originated, but no study has ever shown this.
Regardless of these herbs and products taken individually, 84% of men who took ArginMax reported improved erections and 80% a more satisfying sex life.
Among women, 77% report an improvement in their sexual desire and 74% greater sexual satisfaction. The researchers hypothesize that these effects are the consequence of greater clitoral sensitivity and better vaginal lubrication, resulting in greater blood circulation.
Of course, satisfaction comes at a price: around US $ 40 per month, which compares favorably to Viagra.
