Eczema is a skin disease that develops in flare-ups that manifest themselves as intense itching, red patches, scales, crusts, lesions, thickening of the skin, oozing blisters, skin infections, pain, edema or even burning sensations.
Treatment
The classic treatment for eczema is based on two principles: daily hydration of the skin to avoid skin dryness and immediate therapy in case of inflammation. “For moderate to severe cases, new solutions are available” concludes the patient association, before recalling to finish that eczema affects 2.5 million French people.
