The Roanne hospital center, in the Loire, is undoubtedly the most indebted hospital in France. His debt is such (it reaches 73 million euros) that he has been placed under provisional administration. Three senior Parisian officials are trying to revive this brand new establishment.
Day after day, the teams of the television show “Exhibits” followed the slow deterioration of this hospital: closures of operating theaters, closure of beds, job cuts and transbahutés patients.
The report also focuses on two other hospitals in the department, Feurs and Montbrison, which bet on a merger to get by. But in the name of this merger, Feurs has seen his major surgery disappear and chemotherapy and his mobile emergency service are threatened. The population is worried, especially as doctors are deserting the premises to go to work in private clinics.
This survey will be broadcast this evening at 11:10 p.m. on France 3. It will be followed by a debate with Martin Hirsch, director general of the Public Assistance, Hospitals of Paris and Patrick Pelloux, emergency doctor at the Paris SAMU, Necker hospital – sick children.
