Bis repetita at Peugeot, with prices for the 308 increasing from quarter to quarter. In gasoline as in diesel, sedans and station wagons see their prices climb by 250 €. For the rechargeable hybrid versions, the addition is 650 € more salty.
Could this have become a habit at Peugeot? Each quarter, the Peugeot 308 compact saloon and the Peugeot 308 SW station wagon undergo a price increase. Since 1er April, the thermal models (gasoline and diesel) are negotiated 250 € more. For their part, the rechargeable hybrid versions (180 and 225 hp) whether, again, sedans or station wagons have seen their price climb by 650 €.
Another notable modification of the range, the opening of a negative option, in other words in the jargon: the withdrawal of equipment with the key to a drop in price. In this case, it is the handset with 3D holographic display which disappears from the standard equipment of the Peugeot 308 GT and GT Pack against a discount of 300 €. No return to needle counters, but a 2D display on a slab of the same format (10 inches). Last development of the Peugeot 308 range, in April 2022, the closure of the “Wireless smartphone charger” option (code E301) on the Allure finish. In both cases, it is a shortage of semiconductors that explains, or even justifies, these changes.
The 308 range from €25,700 to €47,200
Thereby the Peugeot 308 sedan range starts at €25,700 in Active Pack finish with a PureTech 110 BVM6 engine, respectively €29,600 in diesel for a 308 Active Pack BlueHDi 130 BVM6. While on their side, the rechargeable hybrid variants are invoiced from €38,100 in PHEV 180, still with the entry-level Active Pack finish. For the break, count a base price of 26,700 € in gasoline, 30,600 € in diesel and 39,100 € in hybrid plug-in cumulating a power of 180 hp. That is always an additional €1,000 for the station wagon compared to the sedan.
