Fa-ti-gué (e) s: we all are at different times of the year, after a period of intense physical effort, of “carting” at work or an illness that has exhausted the body. Rest generally helps to overcome this temporary state. But this year, with the long weeks of confinement, the lack of physical activity, the inability to distract ourselves by going to the cinema or to the show, we are entering the winter solstice being even more tired than in the past. ‘habit.
If this fatigue persists, despite a good night’s recovery, a visit to the doctor is recommended. In the meantime, different essential oils with stimulating properties can help the body to overcome this drop in diet.
In case of mental fatigue
In the event of mental or intellectual fatigue, mix in a 30 ml bottle:
- 2 ml of essential oil of saro
- 2 ml of EO of palmarosa
- 1 ml EO of combava zest
- 1 ml of Ho wood EO
- 1 ml of essential oil from coriander seeds
- 1 ml of basil essential oil
Complete with sweet almond oil. Apply 8 to 10 drops of synergy to the plexus, the inside of the wrists and the arch, twice a day.
For a boost
In a 30 ml bottle, mix: 2 ml of EO of copahier, 2 ml of EO of black spruce, 2 ml of EO of katrafay, 1 ml of EO of juniper, 1 ml of EO of fir balsam, 1 ml of essential oil of clove. Complete with apricot kernel vegetable oil. Apply 8 to 10 drops in massage on the lumbar and lower back, 2 times a day for 7 days. Avoid during pregnancy.
A revitalizing bath
Pour 10 drops of EO of black spruce or maritime pine in a neutral dispersing agent (or a neutral shower gel), mix then pour into the bath. Namely: dispersing agents (Disper®, Solubol®) make it possible to add essential oils to water-based preparations: herbal tea, broth, foot bath or bath. It suffices to dilute the essential oils in 4 to 5 times their volume of dispersant then add the mixture to the water.
2 other express solutions
- Against physical fatigue, dilute 2 drops of black spruce EO in 2 drops of vegetable oil and rub the adrenals (above the kidneys) and the spine.
- In case of intellectual fatigue, we opt for peppermint, at the rate of 2 drops of EO in 2 drops of vegetable oil to be applied on the occiput, at the back of the skull. Orally: 1 drop of EO on a neutral tablet or 1 teaspoon of honey to melt under the tongue. (Not before age 7 or during pregnancy or breastfeeding).

For a stimulating atmosphere, we pour into its diffuser 2 to 3 drops of EO of cinnamon of Ceylon bark, physical and psychic stimulant, peppermint or maritime pine according to his preferences.
