Change when it itches
If your mascara stings, it won’t get better over time. Ditto if your pencil causes redness or swelling. Then try another brand. Perhaps you will bear it better.
Single doses, yes; wipes, no!
Products sold in single doses, in particular make-up removers, offer the advantage of not containing preservatives, since they are packaged under sterile conditions like medicines. They are therefore better tolerated by sensitive eyes. On the other hand, the wipes deposit on the eyelids a make-up remover which does not rinse, which increases the risks of intolerance.
In good order
If you wear contact lenses, it is better to put them on before putting on makeup: this way you will avoid contaminating them. At the end of the day, remove them only after removing your make-up.
Choose safe products
Opt for a brand containing only ingredients recognized for their lack of reactivity and their complete harmlessness, such as La Roche Posay or Contapharm. And, preferably, stay faithful to it so as not to unnecessarily multiply the number of assets. This way you will reduce the risk of an allergic reaction.
Top hygiene
1. Maintain your equipment.
Regularly sharpen your kohl pencils and keep their lead safe under their cap. Do not keep an opened mascara for more than two months. Finally, do not try to extend its life by diluting it with water.
2. Be selfish!
We share everything, except germs! No question therefore of lending his mascara, nor his eye shadows or his pencils.
3. Wash your hands regularly.
Because we tend to wear them in the face without realizing it. Washing is not just running your hands under water: you also have to soap them generously for three minutes with real soap.
4. Make touch-ups.
With a cotton swab, soaked in a few drops of physiological saline.
