Nice, such an iPhone 13. But what does your old iPhone still yield if you sell it via Marktplaats?
From Friday you can shop for a new iPhone 13. As always, the prices are not cheap. It starts at $809 for an iPhone 13 mini and goes up to $1,839 for a 13 Pro Max with 1TB of storage. You can give yourself a ‘discount’ by selling your old iPhone via Marktplaats. Time to see what you can ask. We took multiple ads under the barrel of several iPhones and averaged them out. That way you have an idea of what’s on offer.
iPhone X 64GB – €200 to 250
From 200 euros there is already an iPhone X 64 GB on marketplace to find. These are usually copies with significant usage damage or, for example, a crack in the screen. For a few tens more you have copies in a much nicer condition. The prices then rise to approximately 250 euros.
iPhone XS 64GB – €350 to 400
A step above that is the XS 64 GB. Funnily enough, the offer of the even more expensive XS Max is very meager. There are plenty of examples of the XS. The prices start at approximately 350 euros and can increase by several tens of euros.
iPhone XR 64GB – €300 to 450
The iPhone XR was also a very popular device when it came out. The offer on Marktplaats is therefore wide. From 300 euros for a well-used copy, to even 450 euros for one that is still under warranty.
iPhone 11 64 GB – € 400 to 450
The iPhone 11 is only two years old. The range is therefore not very wide. Prices can be found between about 400 and 450 euros. You will be able to catch that for your old iPhone 11 on Marktplaats.
iPhone 12 64 GB – € 600 to 750
Because there is hardly any supply of the 11 Pro or Max, we continue with the iPhone 12. It is actually not really worth the effort to exchange your 12 for a 13, because the differences are not huge. If you are considering this, you can ask for a minimum of 600 euros for your iPhone 12 64 GB on Marktplaats. The prices go up to about 750 euros. Don’t ask too much, because for 809 euros people can buy a new iPhone 12 64 GB through Apple.
