Surfing the web or texting in the two hours before bed would be stressful. But, rest assured, you won’t have to throw your tech buddies out the window because that’s not true for all screen-based activities: emailing or watching TV wouldn’t cause not the same phenomenon. Reading and physical exercise would not promote stress either.
