The game Street Fighter 6 is definitely coming and has been announced with a cool trailer.
Capcom has announced the development of Street Fighter 6, the next chapter in the iconic fighting series, IGN reports. It also released a teaser trailer featuring Ryu and Luke, a major DLC character appearing at the end of Street Fighter V. The whole thing looks impressive.
Street Fighter 6
We have to make do with the trailer now, because the developer hasn’t said much more. Capcom did say that more news will come out in the summer of 2022. The game was announced after Capcom’s Pro Tour fighting game exhibition through a countdown website. There was no other information, though the trailer’s graphics suggest the new title could use a more realistic drawing style.
Street Fighter V, released in 2016, was the first title in the series to use a full story mode. However, it got off to a rocky start due to server issues and limited content. It ended up being a success, thanks in large part to the subsequent Champion and Arcade editions. The developer plans not to make the same mistakes, so the server problems from then will (hopefully) not happen again.
Other games
The developer will release many more games soon. Along with Street Fighter 6 news, Capcom unveiled a new compilation of games featuring titles like Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, and Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition. So if you’re a fan of fighting games, you’re in the right place for the coming period.
