On September 18 and 19, 2021, the Alsatian circuit of the Ring of the Rhine will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an event bringing together races, a concert, but also a Bugatti parade and a demonstration by Sébastien Loeb in a Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak.
France will celebrate its annual Heritage Days on September 18 and 19, 2021. Several events related to automotive heritage are planned across the country, and this weekend will be an opportunity for the directors of the Ring of the Rhine to celebrate the 25the anniversary of this circuit located in Biltzheim, in Alsace. On this occasion, a child of the country for the less known will make the trip: Sébastien Loeb, nine-time world rally champion.
Races and a concert on Saturday
The event organized on the Ring of the Rhine this weekend is called the Nostalgia Trophy. During the day on Saturday, spectators will be able to attend qualifying races for several competitions (Westfield Cup, VW Fun Cup, Triumph Competition…), as well as the inauguration of the Yann-Ehrlacher turn, named after this other successful driver from the region, who will also be present. A concert by the group Émile et Images, as well as a fireworks display will liven up the evening.

Bugatti invites itself on Sunday
Sébastien Loeb will be performing at the wheel of his Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. The pilot also promises ” other surprises “. Several racing cars from his team could be exhibited and among them the 306 Maxi with which he recently took part in the Mont-Blanc rally. But that remains to be confirmed. The same day will be organized a Bugatti demonstration, which will see old models accompany a Chiron Sport, without forgetting the sprint races of the cups mentioned above. DS, partner of the event, will come with its Formula E single-seater. The day will end with a parade of historic vehicles.
Tours of the track or helicopter offered
Full price access for the Nostalgia Trophy of the Ring of the Rhine weekend costs € 15. The ticket for a day is displayed at 10 €. Entry is free for 0-14 year olds, who must be accompanied by an adult. On the spot, it will be possible to fly over the runway by helicopter for 65 € or sit in the passenger seat of a Fun Cup Beetle for a stint for € 250. It is possible to buy tickets via the online ticketing of the event.
