Renault is lowering the price of two variants of the Mégane E-Tech Electric. This allows a version with the biggest battery, the biggest motor and the most opulent finish to benefit from the maximum ecological bonus of €6,000.
Renault is revising very slightly the prices of the Mégane E-Tech Electric at the beginning of April. The evolution concerns only two versions of the electric compact, but it is welcome on two counts. On the one hand because it is a price drop; on the other hand because a configuration that was only eligible for an ecological bonus of 2,000 € until now can now take advantage of the maximum bonus of €6,000.
Maximum bonus for a high-end configuration
The price drop is for the EV60 220 powertrain, i.e. the combination of the largest battery (60 kWh) and the most powerful motor (220 hp). The Optimum Charge version (22 kW AC, 130 kW DC charger) in Techno finish is now asking €44,300, or €400 less than before. The Super Charge version (7 kW AC, 130 kW DC charger), in the Iconic finish topping the range, sees its price drop by €910 to reach €44,990, i.e. just below the fateful bar of €45,000 beyond which the ecological bonus decreases. This leaves only €10 margin for options. In other words, none if you want to take advantage of the financial aid of €6,000. But this level of equipment is shown as standard.
A version focused on autonomy
The Balance base finish includes, among other things:
- manual air conditioning
- digital dashboard
- 9-inch central touch screen
- 2 front USB ports
- fatigue detector
- cruise control-speed limiter
- reversing radar
- reversing camera
- LED spotlights
- LED fog lights
- 18 inch alloy wheels.
The Evolution ER model, optimized for autonomy, does without the front blade F1 and the front light signature with vertical LEDs. However, it has the OpenR multimedia system with a 12-inch central screen. It is also the only version combining the 60 kWh battery and the “small” 130 hp motor. to offer up to 470 km of WLTP autonomy.
Unchanged finishes
The intermediate Techno finish offers in particular:
- automatic air conditioning
- 12-inch central touch screen
- 4 USB ports (2 front + 2 rear)
- inductive charger
- heated front seats
- heated steering wheel
- electrically folding mirrors
- tinted rear windows
- 20 inch alloy wheels.
In the Iconic version, the equipment also includes:
- navigation system
- side radars
- electric and massaging front seats
- leather upholstery
- golden F1 blade
