Give voice commands to your PlayStation 5. That will soon be possible with a new software update. Look that’s handy!
It’s not much trouble to select a game with your controller. Or to go to the PlayStation Store. But it’s even easier to just give voice commands, you’ll soon be able to do that on the PlayStation 5! Sony is working on a software update that will make this possible.
The feature was already available on the PS4, but is now also coming to the PS5. Don’t expect to chat in Dutch to the console. The feature is initially exclusively in the English language. Whether it will also work in Dutch remains to be seen. It starts first with a beta for residents of the United States and the United Kingdom. You must register yourself for the beta via the website of PlayStation† Those selected for the beta will receive a message from Sony by email.
The console listens to ‘Hey PlayStation’, then you have to give a command. Think ‘start Spider-Man Miles Morales’. And hop, you can get started with the game. And don’t worry, the feature can also be turned off if you don’t want it.
