New HTC smartphone focuses on metaverse

It’s been years since HTC released a smartphone that people have been waiting for, but now the company is giving it another go with the Desire 22 Pro.

The successor of the HTC Desire 21 Pro, which appeared last year, focuses on the metaverse. That is, according to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, “the next big step”.

The HTC Desire 22 Pro is a phone that works perfectly with the Vive Flow VR glasses, which give you access to the Viveverse. That’s HTC’s vision of the metaverse, which is a big deal right now.

The device runs on Android 12 and has an ip67 rating. In Great Britain, the device costs 399 British pounds, and it is from August 1 for sale. Nothing is known about the Netherlands yet.
