This Jaguar XJ-C has been fully modernized and will receive a V8 with 400 hp
Wow, these renders are quite nice. This exuberant Jaguar XJ-C is the work of Carlex Jewel – a new division of the Polish tuning company Carlex Design. It sounds like Jewel will be a restomod company, which is always fun. Carlex says he aims to build ‘a few’ cars every year. Best not to put a number on it, eh? The focus will be on unique interiors, with ‘classic vintage colours, top quality hand-aged leather and absolutely no plastic’.
Wider and lower
The exterior of this Jag is equally glitzy. There is a lot of chrome plus modern lighting and large wheel arches. British Racing Green was chosen for the paintwork and the engine discharges its vapors from four exhaust pipes. Carlex says to reduce the weight of the body with carbon fiber, although it is not clear how much lighter this Jaguar XJ-C is.
No electric powertrain under this Jaguar XJ-C
The engine has also been extensively overhauled with new parts, but the details are scanty. We know there will be a 400 horsepower V8 under that long hood. In addition, they tie better brakes, different wheels and a different suspension under the Jaguar XJ-C. The price is not known yet.
