A program to raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases, “I act for the health of my heart and my arteries”, will be launched in May by the National Health Insurance Fund. The objective: to prevent the risks of development of these diseases before they reach an advanced stage. This program is intended primarily for men and women aged 35 or over who are not followed for any long-term condition or risk factors for cardiovascular disease such as diabetes.
These people will be contacted every five years and will be informed of the risks, good eating habits to have, physical activities that are good to practice and a cardiovascular risk assessment will be carried out for each person individually.
