The law of attraction establishes a direct link between our thoughts and reality. In other words, if you desire something and focus on it, that thing can eventually happen and come to fruition. Sounds too good to be true? Too childish to be believable? We can at least agree that it costs nothing to try!
Some of us must remember the movie The secret by Rhonda Byrne (or the eponymous book that accompanies it) released in 2007. It gave the floor to different personalities who unanimously testified to the power of the famous “ law of attraction “.
The principle of the law of attraction
The Law of Attraction connects consciousness to outcome. In other words, there would be a direct link between our thoughts and reality: the things you desire and decide to focus on eventually come to fruition.
It’s as if the positive thoughts acted like a magnet. Life attracts to you what you think, what you feel, what you imagine, what you visualize. In other words, your thoughts trigger your feelings.
You all have good or bad feelings every day. They make you feel more or
less good. Your thoughts influence these feelings: positive thoughts bring you well-being and good things; conversely, your negative thoughts cause you to feel worse. By developing your positive thoughts, you improve your feelings, therefore your good mood and your general condition.
How to practice?
Yes, you can direct your thoughts. And the best way to convince yourself of this is to try! Listen to simple things like music that makes you feel good. Think of a baby smiling, a loved one bursting into laughter, the purring of a cat. Immediately, you feel better time for these little thoughts.
Your feelings generate the same feelings. Naturally, consciously or not, you then attract to you what will confirm your feelings. Have you ever noticed those famous “good days”? Or perhaps the “less good days”, where good and bad surprises follow one another?
The law of attraction states that when you feel good, you attract people who feel good and vice versa.
Thus, you provoke in them the reactions that you expect from them. By logical deduction, if you train yourself to develop positive thoughts in yourself, if you try to think positively as often as possible, you will feel better and you will attract to you what you deeply desire.
Could the secret of happiness be that happiness attracts happiness like a magnet? If it were enough to become aware of the emotions that you would ideally like to feel at the present moment and in the minutes, the hours, the days to come? One thing is clear: to take advantage of the law of attraction, you have to stay tuned your emotions, your thoughts and your dreams.
An exercise to test the law of attraction
The first step to making your emotions and your dreams “possible” is to begin to believe, with conviction and determination, that they are within reach. So take a notebook or your smartphone and write it down. Place an order with the Universe of everything you dream of livingto have and to feel, there now or tomorrow, in a month, in a year or in ten years…
Nothing is forbidden. Think of the Universe as a catalog of everything that can make you feel good and happy, and then, place an order ! Make your list like when you go shopping and be open-minded and imaginative… Let your dreams guide you.
Finally, imagine the changes in your life if each of these dreams came true. Visualize the situations in the smallest details, imagine what you could feel and feel them, live them in the present moment! The law of attraction should do the rest!
