Dacia will present its seven-seater crossover, replacing the Lodgy and Logan MCV, at the Munich Motor Show in September 2021. Called Jogger, this model will inaugurate the brand’s new logo in early 2022 as well as hybrid powertrains.
Dacia confirms the presentation at the Munich 2021 Motor Show, next September, of a new seven-seater model. It will not yet be the big Bigster SUV but, as we revealed to you last February, a more modest crossover which will also be offered in a five-seater configuration. August 3; the builder revealed his name: Jogger.
Between station wagon, minivan and SUV
The crossover in question will replace both the Logan MCV and Lodgy. Prototypes are currently being tested on the road and, despite their camouflage, we can guess a raised station wagon silhouette. The vehicle will be based on a modified version of the Renault Nissan Alliance CMF-B platform used in particular for the new Sandero. And visually, the car will clearly belong to the new generation Sandero / Logan family since the front lights, the bonnet and presumably the dashboard will be common to all these models. The newcomer will inaugurate the new Dacia logo, which will use its Munich stand as a showcase for its completely redesigned visual identity.

The first hybrid Dacia
In addition to its logo, the crossover should also have the premiere of electrified engines. A 12 V micro-hybrid version of the 1.3 TCe 100 hp and 140 hp petrol units is expected, before a mechanical 1.6 L E-Tech hybrid of 140 hp slightly different from that of the Renault Clio. The range will ignore diesel.
This unique Dacia will be unveiled in pictures on September 3, 2021 then exhibited at the Munich show from September 7 to 12. In parallel with the event, the Romanian manufacturer of the Renault group will exhibit its range in various places in the Bavarian city where BMW is headquartered. The crossover is expected in dealerships in early 2022.
