If you’re going to watch a movie starring Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, you know enough. Action guaranteed! Also in the upcoming movie Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson has a role that suits him very well.

Black Adam is a movie set in the DC universe. You know, the world of Batman and other superheroes. Black Adam is therefore a superhero, played by the American actor. It’s Johnson’s first time playing a superhero for a movie.

The more than two minute trailer is full of spectacle. It remains to be seen how convincingly Johnson manages to portray his role in this superhero film.

The character has been locked up for thousands of years. This is partly due to wizard Shazam, who gave Black Adam superpowers to use for evil. After all these years, the character is released with new super powers.

Dwayne Johnson is obviously not the only well-known actor in Black Adam. The cast also includes former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi and Jennifer Holland. The film will hit theaters on October 21.
