How to best use essential oils?
- On broadcast:using a diffuser by cold nebulization or by placing 2 or 3 drops on a piece of wood or a ceramic pebble may be sufficient. Please note: the broadcast is never practiced continuously and remains reserved for adults. Recommended pace: 15 to 20 minutes, two to three times a day.
- In massage : aromatherapists frequently recommend massaging 3 or 4 drops inside the wrists, in the crook of the elbow, along the spine, on the solar plexus or under the arch of the foot. They are indeed numerous to consider that the cutaneous application is ideal because fast, effective and surer. Warning: many essential oils can be irritating when used pure and must be mixed with vegetable oils before application.
- In the bath : it’s a good way to take advantage of essential oils, because thanks to the steam, their active ingredients are diffused in a cutaneous and respiratory way. It is just necessary to make sure that the HE is compatible with this use and not to exceed 10 drops for a small bath, 20 for a large bath. Warning: EOs are not water-soluble, they must be mixed with a neutral base sold in pharmacies or a few tablespoons of powdered milk, before putting them in the bath water.
