The release date of the highly anticipated game God of War Ragnarok has been announced! There will be five different editions.
We have to wait a little longer, but November 9, 2022 is the day! Then you can start playing God of War Ragnarok. It will be released for both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5. And that’s good news for fans who want to play but have still not been able to get a PlayStation 5 due to scarcity. Along with that announcement also a new trailer to warm us up.
Sony had previously announced that the game would be released this year, but now we know for sure. In November we can go gaming† If you want to be sure that you can really get started at the beginning of November, you can pre-order from July 15, 2022 at 10:00 in the morning.
Five editions
At the pre-order kick-off there are immediately five different editions that you can subscribe to. Namely, the Launch Edition, the Standard Edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s Edition and the Jötnar Edition.
First up is the Launch Edition. Of course it contains the game, but also the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic. If you go for the Standard Edition, you only get the game. If you purchase it for the PS4, you can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 for 10 euros when you finally manage to find the PS5 console.
Digital Deluxe Edition
As for the more special versions, the party starts with the Digital Deluxe Edition. Of course here also the full game but with extras such as Kratos Darkdale Armor, Atreus Darkdale Attire, Darkdale Blades Handles for the Blades of Chaos, Darkdale Ax Grip for the Leviathan Ax, Avatar set and Dark Horse Digital Mini Artbook.
Collector’s Edition
The real work starts with the Collector’s Edition. It comes in a special box that represents the ‘Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine. This shrine contains a voucher for the game, Steelbook Display Case, 2 inch Vanir Twins Carvers, Dwarven Dice Set and 16 inch Mjölnir Replica. In addition, the digital items that we also see in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Jötnar Edition
The real hardcore fans can then opt for the Jötnar Edition. In addition to the Collector’s Edition, it also contains 7 inch vinyl with music from Bear McCreary, The Falcon, Bear and Wolf pin set, Legendary Draupnir Ring, Brok’s Dice Set and Yggdrasil Cloth Map.
