Some 68 applications are available to French people to improve their daily lives. Five healthcare applications have already been unveiled to help patients prevent, support and monitor their disease.
DBTmobile, an application dedicated to diabetics
Scheduled for next June, this service makes it possible to monitor patients with diabetes by monitoring their blood sugar levels remotely. WebDiabete, the publisher of the application, also plans to send automatic alerts by email and text message to patients.
MobisanT for better access to healthcare
Android and iPhone users will be able, from next October, to find health professionals near their home, simulate reimbursements for their drugs and medical care and manage their personal pharmacy using their mobile phones. Users will also be able to access all health information through a news section offered in this application developed by Playsoft.
Health-Alerts for real-time health news
Available from October 2010, this application dedicated to Android and iPhone users aims to keep users informed of alerts and practical information such as air quality monitoring, product recalls, health alerts and even weather report. To do this, PlayAdz, the publisher of this service, has set up an administration web platform governing the sending of messages.
ProxiZen, a service dedicated to people with loss of autonomy and isolated
As of October 31, users will be able to use ProxiZen, a service allowing easy contact between people with loss of autonomy and those around them. This application also offers a vigilance system that can detect falls, night outings and prolonged immobility of people who are isolated or losing their autonomy.
iSommeil to discover your sleeper profile
Scheduled for next June, this service aims to detect insomnia, sleep apnea, drowsiness in order to establish the sleeper profile of each. This allows users to be informed of the difficulties encountered during the night. This service will be available on Android and iPhone.
